Having recently returned to the H2G2 fold, I was looking back over past entries, the few of them that there are.
I then came to a sudden realisation - and this realisation doesn't just apply to this entry, but to the whole of my internet life.
When I first started on the Internet, I, like I would guess everyone else, had literally one computer in the house for everyone to use.
There would be sessions of " is it my turn?"
It was certainly one household, one computer.
Now look at it. Everyone in the house has a laptop. Everyone has an Internet ready smartphone, of what ever flavour.
And I am typing this off the screen of an iPad .
Yet the desktop PC remains in the cupboard in constant use ( same place - different machine), so is it a case of the more things change, the more, something's, remain the same?
