A quiet smile

I often wonder why manufacturers put so many bits of paper in their product boxes.

A case in point. A work mate brings his latest purchase into the welfare room.
Effectively ripping the box asunder he then meticulously went through the contents.
Purchased item - placed carefully on the table. Packing - on the floor for the bin.
The instructions - looked at with that "um should I or shouldn't I " thing that blokes do. After a moments consideration it was casual thrown on to said table, alongside the product.
The International Guarantee - floor.
The recommended accessories leaflet - floor.
In fact pretty much everything else hits the floor.

The fact is, every bloke I know would have done exactly the same.

Am thinking ....

Firstly, apologies if some of this doesn't make sense, am typing with fat fingers on my Galaxy Tab.
And fat fingers can't spell (like the rest of me)
Have forgotten a couple of errands this evening, which I must do tomorrow.
The main reason for this missive is my "conclusion " that I will have to stop using Google + I don't really use it. Its not that straight forward to use, certainly not as straight forward as, say, Twitter or Facebook.
I can't use my normal "lazy " methods of posting, you actually have to log into the site. No Hellotxt, not emails - nothing.
And, the biggest thin is that, other than a couple of friends, I know no one that uses it.email

Jinggly noises

Morning All, and welcome to a dull, dark Friday.

For the second time in the past few days, I have woken up to the tinny tinkle of some electronic device or other. I don't know about anyone else but I have always tries to turn off these "sounds " if I can.

What confuses me is the level of tinniness. You now have HD screens with stero sound. You can enjoy high quality films and music tracks - but the start up tune is still tinny. And it really annoys me.

Never mind, I will turn on my high quality HD TV and watch the news in high quality surround sound.

Thanks for that!

Aarrrggghhh - its not fair! The morning I get a chance for a small lie-in (the BT Vision man and tescos are coming later) I am woken up by the annoying call of an abandoned Phone Alarm.
Not fair, its just not fair.email
