GOOOD Morning everyone. We are the right side of Wednesday, with the weekend in arms reach. Even have a smile on my face after seeing news of a one man band presenting his new composition with an Orchestra in Hull

15:31 Strange, isn't it, how you sometimes return to something you have done in the past. Time and time again I will find myself returning to books that I have previously read. Some suffer more than one return. And today is no expection. Although a digital version, I have come back to re-read Dracula. I love the book, but cannot watch any of the newer horror films, be that Dracula or any other horror. I can't say for sure why. Is it a case of imagination? I can "cool "the horror in the book, but a film is there, in your face and forced into the subconscious mind. Huummm.

what the hell is the Big Society
Or is it just me? I Listern to the news, the radio, watch TV. I try to understand the principle, but all I see is a trick. A con? Maybe a bit unfair but how can a volunteer based society replace all those proper jobs that have been cut, and cut too far and too fast in my opinion.
Maybe its me, the way I was brought. up, but I see it all as a Tory trick.
A merry monday
Good Morning everyone, and welcome to Monday. I won't point out the obvious, plenty already have, so or I'll say is hello

Going to stop making plans
Well that went well. Plan - get up, as is normal for me, wake up Tilly and then go to the gym again. Actuality! For once I got a lie in (or should I say I woke up, and went back to sleep in a chair) and have just woken up a second time. But that it is way too late for the original plan to work

18:37 Thursday 10 Febuary 2011 It's crawling round to another weekend. The weather has been dull and depressing. Damp, dull and with little sun. Have spent today avoiding a screwdriver in the leg, as a big hole has appeared in my toolbag. A dry cough, headache and cramps. Am guessing the old winter virus infection is still circulating around the old blood stream.

21:39 Well there ends another weekend and another session of leave. The pity being that I was ill for all of it - many thanks to the sinuses for that. It even made the decision as the whether I should go back to the doctor's or not one to be thought about. All the above makes me sound like a whinger. And there is certainly something in that I guess.

Top Gear Strikes again, part two
Sorry, got the link bit wrong: here we go again .....
Having watched the Mexican comment on Top Gear, it would be fair to say that Clarkson and Co have overstepped the mark yet again. See what Steve Coogan has to say in his paper comment .... http://m.guardian.co.uk/culture/2011/feb/05/steve-coogan-top-gear-jeremy-clarkson-mexicans?cat=culture&type=article

Diary entry
That's another weeks leave and another year older, for what difference either function has made.
Now typing this whilst watching (listening!!) to the One Show. Star of the show Bob Geldof. At least the rugby starts tonight.
Will England win? I hope so, but suspect something less.

Random Thoughts
Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE
Isn't it strange what thoughts come into your head when you wake up? This is the random thought that came through my head this A.M.
In the Terminator films, if SkyNet was a sentient computer network , why did it waste time trying to destroy mankind by physically crushing , blasting and scaring the hell out of them . One decent sized Bio weapon would do it in one go !!!!. Strange what a sinus infection will do?

Testing, playing, seeing
Hi Guys, guess what I’m doing, yet again.
It would look like the first test (through another type of service) may not have worked – possibly due to me not understanding how the whole thing goes. Well, here we go again.
