You can't have anything in this house.

Kind of Pointless ....

We have all the "benefits" digital TV is supposed to give me, more channels and more choice.

We have iPlayer and Netfix.

And I am still watching something I have seen before???

I could have cried

I could have cried.
I was looking for something else, as you do,  when I noticed the folder that held my old pictures split apart at the bottom.
If that wasn't bad enough, but quite a few of the pictures had slid out and now lay,  crushed,  under the weight of the pile on top of them.
Time has crushed a small part of my personal creative history (not that me and creativity have a standing aqantance).
Ripped corners, and multiple creases across noses and eyes.
All that could be said was "it could have been worse!"

Am trying to work out why the one dimensional politics of UKIP really irritates me.
Perhaps it's that concept of "if we leave Europe the world will be a better place"
Really?

I know you shouldn't laugh, but how can you NOT smile when you heard on the local news that the police have advised drivers to beware of a loose EMU!

What a day ....

What a day its been today.

Woke up is shock, and in a sweat after vaguely remembering some vague, frightening, fight or flight nightmare (the second one in several days)

Then I have spent the day scurrying around, with sore eyes and a thick head.

And, when I get home it just feels like I have been suffering from that subtle mixture of uncoordinated hands and fat fingers

. A smile though, after being "ambushed" by a flying fur ball who was happy to see me. Drooly ball time .....

 

What is happening?

Where has the year gone?
April is past half way through and Easter has already come and gone.
Summer is already on the horizon,and then it is only a short time before we head back to Christmas..
when you feel as old as I do at the moment, time doesn't just run fast.
It hurtles!

Kind of scared

Phone Rings --- " Mr Smith?",

"Yep!".

"Do you want your Dyson servicing?"

"NOT INTERESTED!!"

Phone firmly replaced back into its cradle/charger

What the hell...?

Its Grand Prix (and MotoGP, and Superbikes) Sunday and, as race was on early, I watched it from the warmth of the duvet. Although the result was decent, I am , once again, left shaking my head at what I have just seen. How the hell does Dougal Dog sleep the way he does? I have seen earphone cords come put, of bags with less knots in!!

It's Saturday

Once again, I'm at work on a Saturday.
I know I'm lucky to be employed.
But I still can't help thinking of all the other things I could be doing?
Never mind,  comfort break over and upwards and onwards to the next Customer

You just can't have 5 minutes safety from the internet Pigs. Literally 1 minutes gap between changing my password and getting another warning from Yahoo that it has detected "unusual activity", and have I tried to login from a device in Romania!!

Day Off

Having barely got used to being back at work, I am , once again, on a day off.

But are things really any different - you can bet your life their not.

As I once again sit in the kitchen, I look out on another late winter/early spring morning, the the sun burning oranges, reds and pinks into a wispy, cloudy sky. The pretty images occasionally "enhanced" by a cloud of something or other rising form the steel works just out of my view.

And, of course, the mad hound still keeps trying to sneak out of the door with some jumper, or tee shirt, clasped firmly in his jaws.

So time to sit peacefully "waking up" slowly before heading out on a required shopping trip and back to the hum drum of life we all have to enact.

Feeling pretty nauseous

Not a nice thing to talk about around dinner, but there you are.

Having only had a "Coffee" breakfast, it came as no real surprise that I was pretty hungry. But that also can with the periodic IBS reminders - stomach cramps etc.

Well, seeing as both are as uncomfortable as each other, "filling my face" seemed a fair compromise.

I guess I should have known better..

Once again, as you can guess from the title, that I am playing with posting options again.

This time, I am probably, yet vainly hoping that, if I can post this via email, I may well have found an easier way of posting bigger, none Twitter, type messages.

I suspect that anything shorter than this would be a kind of pointless attempt.
