Happy

Have got the broadest smile on my face. Am watching the rather camp 60's/70's Batman - with Burt Ward and Adam West. Had forgotten how funny, how entertaining this version is. "big broad grim"email

Annoyed

I know this is, in reality, a nothing.

It's not going to change the world. It will NOT save those at risk in the Third World. In the grand scale of things it is a nothing. It IS unimportant.

And, boring hound that I am, I have moaned about it before - but I find it annoying. It irriates. And it was my main means (for which read - easiest, as in I'm lazy) of posting to my various Social Networks. Hellotxt is getting worse - not better. Not only can I no longer seem to post anything via it - either by email, or direct, but in the last 24hours it hasn't updated anything.

Time to stop being lazy!!

Nice

Have had a good afternoon at Archery and made progress this morning at the Gym. Now having a few moments watching a James Bond film waiting for Mand, Jack & Charlie to come - NICE!!email

Ha Ha

Am sat, half watching "Trench Detectives" on the History
Channel.
The basis of the story is that they are investigating the Archaeological
evidence for the crew and fitting of the original MkIV WWI Tanks.
And, as part of this is the description of the awe struck looks on the faces
of the French Villagers as these Machines first trundled (as they never went
faster than slow)down their Village main street on the way to the front.
And how did they represent this?. Archive images of said tank "march". - NO!
They have this old bloke, with his scale model of a Mk IV, going down the
road. The biggest smile came when a present day French Villager came out of
his front door.
He looked down at the model (he must have been a good 6ft tall, the model
4ft if that). Looked at the owner and then the camera crew behind him.
You could see the growing thought (in French) of "What the Hell?????"

Morning

Morning all - and what a grotty start to the day (round here least ways). Its grey, its dark & its raining.
What a surprise !!
Still plenty to do though.
And, whatever happens a morning visit to the gym, and a busy afternoon with old "bow & arrows" - YEAH!!!.
Have a nice day everyone.

So tired

Am watching NCIS (Yeah) - with tired burning eyes (Boo!!).

Guess that's my bodies way of telling me to give up - so I think I just might. Nite Nite Allemail

A Wee Bit Mardy

I have to say, I'm a wee bit Mardy - Internet wise least ways. Hellotxt is STILL not working properly. If anything it's getting worse. And to top that Facebook has not only altered the way the main page lays out, but I can't log out of chat whatever way I try (after many kind suggestions and helpful tips).

Am just wondering why I should bother any more - moan over, have a good day

Ha

am watching the BBC breakfast news, as usual for this time in the morning.

Mr Turnbull & Ms Williams are doing the morning papers. Then someone walks across the studio, and in front of the camera.

Not a stumble. Not a stutter. The show goes on - what professionals.

Tuesday 24th June

Good morning everyone, its Tuesday. A bit dull. A bit cool, and I'm still trying to work out why I'm up, at work time, on a day off.

And,more importantly why my nose and eyes are, seemingly, refusing to talk to my brain! Perhaps the "old grey matter" is having the day off ;0)

Fathers Day

well that's nearly the conclusion of Fathers Day, and I have been lucky to see today with many of those I love dearly.

Its been many years since I lost my dad. And there ain't many days, even now, when I don't think of him.

I know he's watching over us.
Happy Fathers day Dad!!

. Message to self - don't go out of the front door, bare-footed, to get stuff from your van after it been raining!!!

I didn't know feet could squelch like that

Fathers Day

Good morning everyone, and welcome to Fathers Day!

Am a lucky fella as I have a nice new shirt and a Robin Hood DVD(do you think my kids know me ;0) ). Thanks kids and big hugs.

Huh!!!

Have just followed one of those real posh Cement Wagons down the road, looking, sadly really impressive. That was until every time the lorry went over a bump, the hopper pipe would cough out a handful of feathers ???

#FF #BBCBreakfast Love this story - via BBC
Breakfast.

An American Father has waved his Son away to school for the last 150-ish
days wearing a different Fancy Dress Costume -* just to wind him up. *

He did the thing once and his 15 year old was absolutely mortified, so he
decided to continue. Whats worse, Dad has, apparently, gone thorough the
whole range including a Princess Leia dress.

Arrgghh was that a n

Arrgghh was that a nights sleep?? Awake more times than I care to count, and distinct memories of zombie attack(at best) Whats that all about?

. It has been quite entertaining this week watching our Laura. She has
been bet a Tenner that she couldn't stay off Facebook for a whole week (not
by me I hasten to add) . And, to my surprise, she is actually doing it.
Looks like she will be ten pounds better off come Sunday

am going to have to stop watching some of these hospital reality programs. There's an old fella stood holding his wife's unconscious hand. And she's been that way for hours. She's his whole life (and he hers) he just looked so lost and helpless. Its just so unfair - you can really hate life sometimes!!!

Well what a funny old day! Starts off chilly - but with full sunshine. Then it goes as black as hell, cold and then throws it down. And now its back to sun, sun, sun. Breezy though. Whatever next??

Huummm lovely - nice warm toasted bread buns covered in butter.

"Where do you go to my lovely, when you're alone in your bed. Tell me the thoughts that surround you - I want to look inside your head". Don't know why but have woke up with those Peter Sarstedt lyrics drifting through my empty mind. Could be worse - have a nice day.

Morning everyone, welcome to a sunny start to the day. Am sat here with a broad smile on my face - having just watched BBC's Breakfast's Bill Turnbulltrying to emulate the "mewing" sound of a Red Kite. Not even close, sounded a little more like an asthmatic kitten - funny none the less. At least it entertained Kate Silverton Have a good day everyone

God I hate Dog acts!!

Good morning everyon

Good morning everyone - its a beautiful, sunny start to the day (cold though - "shiver"). This pathetic version of mankind has a dripping nose, and a sore face - what a great way to make your way through life. "Must stop whinging, must stop whinging"
