Isn't it odd

I was just thinking how quickly we become used to something.
Am sat here using mobile internet. Great use of technology - but,now, because of the area I'm in, desperately slow compared to the DSL service at home.
But this is my though (for what it is) . Even the mobile internet is far superior to the dial up lines WWW were used just a few short years ago. And then we were happy to wait an age for email.
Expectations have certainly altered.email

Humbled

Am watching Top Gear, with a sleeping God Son on ther settee opposite, and most of the rest of "the rabble" off watching Harry Potter.
Tomorrow myself and Cathy will have been married for 24 years. With that in mind, the kids appeared this afternoon with a surprise . They had brought us a really nice painting - entitled "Embrace". The only snag is, I'm not sure how we are going to get it home safelyemail

Morning all, and welcome to a dismal wet, dull, Lake District Day. Kids (big and small) are swimming and, at some point, we will need to decide what the ïntinary for today will be.
The one advantage is, there's no hurry.
