This must be angry Friday?
Have just watched a piece of a fella who has worked all his life. He has served his Country and is quite rightly proud of what he has done. And, throughout, he has volunteered to help anyone and everyone that he could assist.
A decent, proud, good man
However, in recent times he has had to gain assistance form the state.
One day he walks into the Job Centre, in Uniform, after volunteering to sell Poppies in a Supermarket Carpark.
The Gophers then stop his payments for over 6 weeks because he didn't "fill in a form to tell them he was volunteering"
And, and this is the measure of the man, when everything was sorted out, he holds no grudges against the system that robbed him.
I'm damn sure I wouldn't be that forgiving.
It's good to see that there are good, decent people out there.
Human nature is still good.
