Don't get me wrong, Ebola is an extremely dangerous contagion, but, as usual the UK panics.
The US authorities want to screen incoming West Africians for those who show a fever.
Great, that just shows that you are, actually, upto 20days to late.
So what doēs the UK do.
Nothing much, in the first instance.
And then, within the day, it does a full U turn and follows the US "lead". They are even going ask traveller to fill in a survey too, just to see where people have been and who they have been on contact with.
What happens to those thousand's who come into the UK "by other means"
If we are going to Panic, shouldn't they be the ones be we should be more worried about.
And this isn't me picking on "Illegals".
Some of them are criminals, but the majority are just desparate for a safer, better life.
So its always escapes me why they would want to come here in the first place, but, as a civilised Nation, we should be helping, not vilifiying.
But we are, also, not screening them.
We should be encouraging them to make themseleves "available"
Sadly, instead of maintaining the health of those from all round the world, it would, of course, become an immigration round up.
So the possible infections and contaigains that could come with them will remain hidden.
Until it's too late.
