I could have cried.
I was looking for something else, as you do, when I noticed the folder that held my old pictures split apart at the bottom.
If that wasn't bad enough, but quite a few of the pictures had slid out and now lay, crushed, under the weight of the pile on top of them.
Time has crushed a small part of my personal creative history (not that me and creativity have a standing aqantance).
Ripped corners, and multiple creases across noses and eyes.
All that could be said was "it could have been worse!"
