Have already posted of the TV choice for me this evening.
Don't you just love dead bodies staked and decapitated to stop them rising from the grave. Shakespeare plays with dead bodies bleeding. And not a zombie in sight ( apparently these are a recent incarnation )
Maybe it appeals to my more macabre side, but I have Tony Robinson informing me how our ancestors would deal with the dead/undead to protect those who were still alive. And all this is on before 9 o'clock .
And now he's drifting into the symbolism of ceremonial cannibalism . The sick taking the power of the soul of the recently deceased
