Winter has returned with a vengeance!!!
Just when you thought that the British Winter had fizzled out to a damp Squibb, what happens?
The weather closes back in, the air begins to freeze, and, after a long long time, there is a decent amount of snow fall.
Of course the kids will be up-set. The snow falls today (Sunday) and they are back at School tomorrow, after a week off for half time - there is a certain amount of "natural justice" -
What is even "sadder" (is that a real word?
) is that fact that I am stood, with my head out of a window, just as the light of a new day , dawns', taking pictures of snowy cars.
The two images have been "tidied up" with a graphics program (and seeing as I've not really done much in the way of image manipulation) they may not be up-to the standards of some images on the net, but , at least they show what I have been saying.
To be honest, the snow has got somewhat thicker under foot. It looks very, very pretty. the flakes floating gently through the air. The hard edges of the drive soften by the "banks" of snow.
You have to wonder whether our Liam will be playing Football today?
We will see.
