Is it impossible to cancel a website subscription?

Just a question, or is it a statement of truth. Maybe it lands somewhere in the middle.

What it is. As part of the continuing saga of too many blogs, and not enough time, I have actually tried to cancel some of the accounts (free up some server space for someone else). Needless to say - this site ISN'T one of those going.

None of the sites actually have any "cancellation" function - although one site did say , in effect, leave it alone and forget about it. Is this really the right way to go about things.

Mind you - I'll take their advice and forget about the ones I no longer use.
